NANCY BRIGHINDI, PhD, MBA, CAE

Chief Component Officer

Dr. Nancy Brighindi is a passionate advocate for bridging the relationship between National associations and Components. With more than two decades of nonprofit leadership experience, including 10 years as a Director of Membership Development and Chapter Relations for a National association, Nancy has seen first-hand the power of intentional collaboration.

Her commitment to forge these partnerships led Nancy to earn a Doctorate in Human Services that specializes in the Management of Nonprofit Agencies.  Her research focused on leadership traits and motivational factors of volunteer chapter presidents.

Nancy’s tenacious resolve and her passion for forensic research endows her with an eagle eye to investigate the root cause of intractable problems.  Her analytical prowess even translates to her own current volunteer endeavors at the National Archives and Records Administration where she works with 100-year-old records from World War I American Expeditionary Forces as well as documents and photos from the Bureau of Public Roads series, “Historical Photograph Files, 1896-1963”. She is a member of the National Archives Volunteer Association (NAVA) and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Nancy’s lifelong career calling is summed up simply:

Creating WIN-WIN-WIN partnerships for nonprofits to thrive, grow, and prosper…together through collaboration.
